CROSSFIT LITE: After you’ve tackled the Free Intro and decided you want to learn more, then we’ll ask you to attend at least 3 of our CrossFit Lite Sessions. This is our beginner class and is offered 3 times a week – Tues/Thurs at 530pm and Sat at 10am.
CrossFit can be intimidating for a first-timer because it requires a trainee to perform movements in a group setting that they may be unfamiliar with such as a kettlebell swing or a box jump. CrossFit Lite eleminates this unfamiliarity by teaching you the “essentials” of CrossFit!
REGULAR GROUP CLASSES:This is the core of what CrossFit HI offers. We offer group training at various times throughout the day (see the schedule tab above for a full list of classes offered). Each class will have between 5 and 15 members present working out and supervised by a CrossFit Certified Coach. The workout is planned in advance by the coaching staff and the class will generally consist of a warmup, stretching, techniques instruction, the workout, and then a cool down.
Why do we offer group training at CrossFit HI in Kauai? Because it WORKS! By training in a group setting, with a coach present, you get the benefits of the personal training coaching that would come from hiring your own personal trainer, but you get it at a fraction of the cost! Also, with everyone in the group doing the same workout (maybe at different weights, etc. depending on skill level) there is an added competitive element that will push the trainee to new levels of fitness.
